Dear MSAP Parents/Guardians:

We would again like to say Happy New Year and keep you informed concerning a number of upcoming dates and events. We are happy to say the bus strike has had limited if any effect on our school.

Please keep in mind the following:

  • There will be NO SCHOOL on Monday, January 21, 2013 as we reflect on the life and works of Dr. Martin Luther King.
  • There will be Achieve Now Saturday Academy for registered students this Saturday, January 19th. Please be on time for the 8:00 am start.
  • Our next PTA meeting will coincide with our 8th Grade Information Night on Thursday, January 24th, 6:30 pm in the auditorium.
  • There will be a school dance on Friday, January 25th. Invitations will go out to students next week.
  • Saturday, January 26th, there will be a special workshop for parents and guardians titled, “A Call to Action!” The workshop will be run by our community partner SLATE and is funded through the 21st Century Grant. The goal is to help engage parents and guardians in the role they can play to help better our school community. If you wish to attend, another RSVP for will be distributed to students next week. We will also place a form on the school website for you to fill out digitally.

If you have other questions or concerns, please check the school’s website: www.ms-ap.org and if you cannot find the answer you are looking for, please feel free to call us.

We look forward to your continued support on our road of school improvement.

Mr. McNeill
Principal
