Parent-Teacher Conferences – Tuesday, November 20, 2012

November 19, 2012

Dear Parents/Guardians:

Tomorrow, Tuesday, November 20, 2012 will be a half-day for students so that teachers and
parents can meet to discuss the progress of their children. Students will be dismissed at 12
(noon). Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held between 1-3 pm and 5:30-8 pm. In order to
get your child’s report card, you must sign for it in the Atria before visiting teachers. We expect
to see you for these very important meetings. Students who wish to get lunch may do so after
dismissal. There will be no Sports and Arts or 21st Century Programs tomorrow.

School will be closed for the Thanksgiving Holiday on Thursday, November 22nd and Friday,
November 23rd.

Students will be permitted to dress down on Wednesday, November 21st. We are asking that
any student who does brings with them a minimum of one non-perishable canned food item
that we can use to support local food bank organizations. Often many have their supplies
depleted between Thanksgiving and Christmas and our students have the unique opportunity to
help these organizations while coming to school dressed down. We hope that you can help us
articulate to students the importance of giving and helping others in need during this time of
thanksgiving.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation and we will see you tomorrow for Parent-Teacher
Conferences between 1-3 pm and 5:30-8 pm.

Mr. McNeill
